The primary purpose of cabin air filter is to help clean the air that enters into your vehicle through the ventilation system, keeping the air inside your vehicle clean and fresh.

Location of this cabin filter: Passenger side behind the glove box. Tools: None.

When you change your filter (maybe variant for your model. Please see the owner’s manual or find a local mechanic for exact instructions for the particular model):

      1. Open the glove box.
      2. On the inside right panel of the glove box unclip and remove the glove box hydraulic retaining cord and the glove box stopper.
      3. Push in on both sides of the glove box to clear the stop pins and allow the glove box to swing all the way down.
      4. Locate the cabin filter housing access door and remove by pulling on the tabs on either side of the housing door.
      5. Remove the old filter by pulling straight out.
      6. Insert your new cabin filter.
      7. Install remove parts by reversing the removal procedure. Close the glovebox and it’s done.
