The primary purpose of cabin air filter is to help clean the air that enters into your vehicle through the ventilation system, keeping the air inside your vehicle clean and fresh.

Location of this cabin filter: Passenger side of the vehicle under/behind the glove box. Tools: Phillips-head screwdriver.

When you change your filter (maybe variant for your model. Please see the owner’s manual or find a local mechanic for exact instructions for the particular model):

Lower the glove box by disconnecting the dampener arm and pushing in on both sides.
Remove plastic trim from the upper portion of the glove box.
Remove the screws holding in the upper portion of the compartment. Carefully unclip and remove this section.
Carefully disconnect the electrical connector from the left side of the glove box.
Remove the filter housing door.
Remove the old filter from the housing and insert your new cabin air filter into housing.
Install remove parts by reversing the removal procedure and it’s done.
