The primary purpose of cabin air filter is to help clean the air that enters into your vehicle through the ventilation system, keeping the air inside your vehicle clean and fresh.

Location of this cabin filter: Passenger side of the vehicle in front of the windshield under the cowl vent screen. Tools: Phillips-head screwdriver.

When you change your filter (maybe variant for your model. Please see the owner’s manual or find a local mechanic for exact instructions for the particular model):

Open the hood and using a Phillips-head screwdriver to remove 2 plastic screws securing the front of the cowl vent screen on the passenger side of the vehicle.
After removing the screws squeeze in on the plastic clips and pull them out of the hole in the cowling.
Carefully lift up the front edge of the passenger side cowl vent screen.
You should now see the filter toward the passenger side. Press down on the frame and pull forward so that it slips under the tab.
Remove the dirty filter from the frame and install your new cabin air filter into the frame.
Install remove parts by reversing the removal procedure and it’s done.
