The primary purpose of cabin air filter is to help clean the air that enters into your vehicle through the ventilation system, keeping the air inside your vehicle clean and fresh.

Location of this cabin filter: Passenger side behind the glove box. Tools: Phillips head screwdriver.

When you change your filter (maybe variant for your model. Please see the owner’s manual or find a local mechanic for exact instructions for the particular model):

    1. Open the glove box.
    2. To lower the glove box, push in on both side panels to clear the glove box stops.
    3. Let the glove box swing all the way downward on its hinge.
    4. With the cabin filter housing unit now exposed, open the filter access door by removing the 2 screws and open the access door.
    5. Remove the old cabin filter by pulling straight out.
    6. Insert your new cabin filter.
    7. Install remove parts by reversing the removal procedure and it’s done.
