    The primary purpose of cabin air filter is to help clean the air that enters into your vehicle through the ventilation system, keeping the air inside your vehicle clean and fresh. 

    Location of this cabin filter: Passenger side behind the glove box. Tools: None.

    When you change your filter (maybe variant for your model. Please see the owner’s manual or find a local mechanic for exact instructions for the particular model):

    1. To remove the glove box, there are 2 hinge pins that must be removed from the bottom of the glove box. Pull the pins towards the center of the glove box to remove them.
    2. Open the glove box and released the dampener cord on the left side of the glove box.
    3. To release the dampener by pull down on the dampener cord to free it from the glove box, then push from the inside of the glove box to release it.
    4. Pull up the glove box to remove if form its hinges and set it aside.
    5. Remove the filter housing cover by unhook the tabs.
    6. Install your new cabin air filter into the housing.
    7. Install remove parts by reversing the removal procedure. Close the glovebox and it’s done.
